Big Awesome BBQ has been serving Central New York since 2007. Over the years, the business has grown through competition barbecue, festivals, catering, and food-trailer service—all while staying focused on producing consistent food for real events and real crowds.
Competition background
Our competition background helped shape the standards we still follow today. Big Awesome BBQ has earned Kansas City Barbeque Society Top 10 finishes in chicken, ribs, pork, brisket, and overall, along with recognition at the World Food Championships and People's Choice wins at barbecue events across Central New York.

Our barbecue meats are smoked low and slow over live hickory. Every sauce, rub, and side is made from scratch. Zero shortcuts.
Event experience
Big Awesome serves company lunches, weddings, rehearsal events, graduations, private parties, festivals, community events, and large public gatherings throughout Central New York. Our experience ranges from private celebrations to events serving more than 2,000 guests.
